Step 1: Enable Excel Mode

Turn on Excel Mode by switching the Excel Toggle on.

This activates the bulk upload feature, allowing you to import multiple petty cash transactions from an Excel spreadsheet instead of entering each expense manually, saving significant processing time.

Step 2: Upload Excel File

Click the Upload icon to select your Excel file.

Using the correct template helps ensure smooth data import and minimizes mapping errors.

Step 3: Attach Excel Sheet

Attach the prepared Excel sheet and click Next to begin the import process.

Accomation.io reads the uploaded data and prepares it for field mapping, making bulk petty cash processing faster and more efficient.

Step 4: Select Invoice Type

Choose the appropriate Invoice Type for the uploaded transactions. Selecting the correct transaction type ensures the imported entries are processed accurately and follow the appropriate accounting workflow in the Petty Cash module.

Step 5: Map Excel Columns

Map the Excel column headers to the corresponding system fields and click Next.

Once the mapping is completed, Accomation.io remembers it for future uploads, reducing repetitive work and enabling faster bulk imports.

Step 6: Review and Save

Review the preview screen to verify that all columns have been mapped correctly, then click Save.

After successful validation, your Excel file is uploaded and the petty cash transactions are ready for review, approval, or posting to Tally.
