Step 1: Under the recurring Transaction inbox, click the create template icon

Step 2: Fill in all the details of the Transactions, with the start date, end date(optional), frequency of the transaction and the generation day or date.

You can also add or delete ledger line items as required.

Party ledgers and stock ledgers can also be created directly from this screen.

Step 3: Click on Submit

Once submitted, the transaction template will show an Active status along with the Next Execution Date.

On the scheduled execution date, the transaction will automatically appear in the respective inbox with the label Auto Generated.

If an end date is mentioned in the template, the recurring transaction will automatically become 'Inactive' on that date and stop generating further transactions.
