Step 1: Open Invoice Inbox

Go to Invoice → Invoice Inbox to access the invoice management screen.

The Invoice Inbox allows you to create, edit, manage, and track customer invoices while maintaining an organized record of all billing transactions.

Step 2: Create a New Invoice

Click the "+" icon to create a new invoice.

This opens the invoice creation screen, where you can enter customer information, invoice details, products, taxes, and other transaction data required for accurate billing.

Step 3: Select Invoice Type

Choose whether you want to create an invoice With Item, Without Item, or as a Journal Entry.

Selecting the appropriate transaction type ensures your invoice is generated according to your accounting workflow and business requirements.

Step 4: Select Invoice Series

Select the required Invoice Series.

Based on your configured settings, Accomation.io automatically populates the Bill Number and Invoice Number, ensuring sequential numbering, improved document consistency, and simplified invoice management.

Step 5: Select Party Ledger

Under the Bill To section, click the Search icon to find and select the required Party Ledger.

You can search using the Party Name or GST Number.

If the party ledger does not exist in Tally, you can fetch customer details using the GST number to populate invoice information, making customer onboarding faster and reducing manual data entry.

Step 6: Enter Invoice Details

Fill in the Product Details, Additional Details, TCS Details, and Other Details required for the invoice.

Completing all relevant information ensures accurate customer billing, GST compliance, tax calculations, and complete invoice documentation before finalizing the transaction.

Step 7: Save Invoice

Click Save Changes to create and store the invoice. Saving the invoice preserves all entered information, allowing you to review, print, convert, or process the invoice further as part of your sales and accounting workflow.
