Step 1: Open the Template for Editing

Under the Action column, click the Edit icon next to the inactive recurring transaction template you want to activate.

This opens the template for editing, allowing you to update its schedule and restore recurring transaction automation without creating a new template.

Step 2: Update the End Date

Change the template End Date to a future date.

Extending the end date re-enables the recurring schedule, allowing the template to remain active and continue generating transactions according to the configured frequency and execution schedule.

Step 3: Submit the Changes

Click Submit to save the updated template.

Once submitted, the recurring transaction template becomes Active, and Accomation.io automatically resumes generating transactions from the next scheduled generation date, ensuring uninterrupted accounting automation.

Automatic Transaction Generation Resumes

After activation, the recurring transaction template automatically generates new entries based on the configured schedule. Transactions continue to be created until the template reaches its updated end date, is paused, or is deleted.
