Step 1: Enable Godown and Batch Feature

Click the Configure icon within the invoice and enable the Godown and Batch options according to your inventory requirements.

Activating these settings displays additional fields for warehouse allocation and batch management during purchase entry processing.

Step 2: Select the Stock Item

Under the With Item option, choose the required stock item for the purchase invoice. Selecting the correct inventory item ensures accurate stock allocation, inventory valuation, and proper synchronization with Tally.

Step 3: Open Item Allocation

Click the Item Allocation icon to access the stock allocation window.

This section allows you to distribute purchased quantities across different godowns and manage warehouse-wise inventory directly from the Purchase/Expense module.

Step 4: Allocate Stock Across Godowns

Distribute the purchased stock quantity among the required godowns or warehouses.

Proper warehouse allocation helps maintain accurate inventory records, improves stock tracking, and supports efficient inventory management across multiple storage locations.

If you maintain inventory batch-wise, enter the required batch information for the selected stock item.

This helps track stock by batch number, improves inventory traceability, and supports better stock control and compliance.

Note: If your inventory uses multiple units of measurement, both quantity conversions are displayed on the screen for easier stock verification and accurate inventory management.

Step 6: Configure Your View

Customize the displayed fields according to your working preferences.

Step 8: Save the Allocation

Once all stock quantities have been completely allocated across the required godowns and batches, click Save.
