Step 1: Open the GSTR Import

Click the GSTR icon in Purchase Excel Mode to begin importing your GSTR-2B report.

This feature allows you to fetch GST purchase data directly from the GST portal, eliminating manual downloads and simplifying Purchase reconciliation.

Step 2: Enter GST Credentials

Enter your GST Number and GST Portal Username, then click Send OTP.

Accomation.io securely authenticates your GST account to retrieve your GSTR-2B data directly from the GST system.

Step 3: Verify with OTP

Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click Verify & Continue.

OTP verification securely authorizes access to your GST account and enables the system to fetch your GSTR-2B report.

Step 4: Select Return Period

Choose the required month and year for the GSTR-2B report, then click Submit.

Selecting the correct tax period ensures that the relevant purchase transactions are imported for reconciliation and accounting.

Step 5: Import and Process the GSTR Report

Select the GSTR file to complete the import.

The GSTR-2B data is uploaded into Purchase Excel Mode, where you can map the ledgers once. Accomation.io remembers these mappings, enabling automatic ledger mapping for future GSTR imports and allowing entries to be pushed directly to Tally.
