Step 1: Open the Split Entry Option

Click the Split icon for the required bank transaction to open the split entry window.

This feature allows you to divide a single bank transaction into multiple accounting entries, making it easier to allocate amounts to different ledgers, invoices, or accounting references.

Step 2: Add Split Entries

Enter the required split amounts and assign the appropriate ledger, party, or reference for each split entry.

Ensure the combined value of all split entries matches the original bank transaction amount to maintain accurate accounting records and smooth bank reconciliation.

Step 3: Save the Split Transaction

After verifying all split amounts and ledger allocations, click Save.

Accomation.io records the transaction as multiple accounting entries while preserving the original bank transaction, enabling accurate reconciliation, streamlined bookkeeping, and seamless synchronization with Tally.
